Bollywood Meets Nollywood At The 6th Annual ION Int’l Film Fest

“NIGERIA’S film industry, colloquially known as Nollywood, is hoping to take inspiration from Bollywood producers.

 

Bollywood, the largest producer of movies in the world will for the first time meet in Nigeria with Nollywood, the second largest producer of movies in terms of titles during the ION International Film Festival to be held between 9-12 December. 

 

Leading Bollywood producers will be invited to share their experience of the industry, it’s cultural and economical value, and explore collaboration opportunities for Nollywood producers to work with the Indian film industry.

 

There will also be a panel discussion on new models of financing media in terms of developing creative and financial partnerships and accessing new market.

Connecting Bollywood to Nollywood will also celebrate the stars of the world’s largest film industries by inviting a major Bollywood celebrities to attend the festival as guest of honour.
